A scholar can be defined as any international who comes to Iowa State University with a primary purpose other than taking student classes (i.e. professors, post-docs, employees, individuals from another U.S. University on OPT/CPT, etc.). It is important that all scholars refer to the information provided.
Please note that all international scholars visiting for any length of time are required to check-in with ISSO and enroll in Iowa State University's Student and Scholar Health Insurance Plan.
