Willow Hall is located at 211 Friley Rd, Ames, IA 50013. Students may check in at the Maple Willow Larch Commons at any time. Contact the Department of Residence with any questions or concerns at housing@iastate.edu.
Cost:
Students staying at Willow Hall will be charged $25.00 per night from Thursday, July 23 - Wednesday, August 12. After moving from temporary housing to permenant on-campus housing, students will continue to be charged $25.00 per night until the start of their housing contracts.
- Housing contracts for students living in Frederickson Court or Schiletter University Village start on August 15, 2020.
- Housing contracts for students living in any of the residence halls on campus start on August 18, 2020.
Family Accommodations:
Family members who accompany students to Ames, Iowa, will need to make their own hotel reservations in the City of Ames.
Dining Options
On-Campus Dining:
Locations and hours are limited before the start of the semester. Please check ISU Dining's website to find more detailed information.
Off-Campus Dining:
Several restaurants and cafes are located throughout the City of Ames.
Move-Out to Permanent Housing:
August 12th, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
For students in orientation housing, residence halls will allow students to move-in on August 12, 2020. All students in orientation housing will need to move out of orientation housing to their permanent housing (either on-campus or off-campus housing) on August 12, 2020.
